As a Church we are very grateful to Kirsty Cummins, the Co-ordinator of The New Dawn Child Contact Centre, for doing everything in her power to enable the families who have been using our premises for contact to continue doing so.
Pastor Shaun Sweeney has made a video update on how our Church is coping with these changing times. Please subscribe to our new YouTube Channel and our Facebook page.
There is no current advice to stop people gathering and the Baptist Union recommends that churches should consider following best-hygiene practices. We have soap available in all of our toilets and we would advise all those attending services or events to wash their hands on arrival. To help you wash for the recommended 20-30 seconds you can sing the National Anthem or say The Lord’s Prayer.
To remember the ending of WW1, we plan to decorate our church with at least 100 hand-made poppies. How you can help: Knit or Crochet some poppies - patterns are available to download. Donate red and/or black wool! Full or part balls, preferably DK, any type: acrylic, cotton or wool blend.
