Since 1996 Southampton City Mission have been giving out free food and clothes to anyone in need in Southampton through our Basics Bank project. Working through trusted referral partners and an electronic voucher system, to provide emergency food and clothes for those who fall through the gaps in the benefit system or are struggling with one of life’s crises.

Donate Food

In this time of unprecedented need, we are incredibly grateful to still be receiving donations of food for our Basics Banks.

Get the FoodBank App to keep up to date with our current food needs. Available free from the Apple App Store, or for Android on Google Play.

The free Foodbank App will give you:
· Up to date shopping list
· Venue locations & maps
· News updates
· Online giving portal

Install the App, select Southampton Basics Bank, and you’ll always know what we need the most! When selecting items to donate, please buy smaller portion bags rather than bulk-buy items, as we give out food based on meal portions.
