Safeguarding
Children and Young People
As members of Shirley Baptist Church we commit ourselves to the nurturing, protection and safeguarding of all children and young people associated with the church and will pray for them regularly.
The church has appointed [awaiting confirmation of new appointee] as the Designated Person for Safeguarding.

Protection
of Adults at Risk
Shirley Baptist Church has a spiritual, moral and legal duty to ensure that it functions with a view to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults at risk.
The church has nominated Brenda Greenwood as Designated Person with responsibility for adults at risk.

Safeguarding Trustee
The church has appointed Clint Zvavamwe as the Safeguarding Trustee to oversee and monitor the implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures on behalf of the church’s charity trustees.
